Minecraft version 1.20.1 is here. To find new 1.19.x - 1.20.x biomes, use portals to get into 20.000 block extension area and use online map for navigation.
-oLD-  Minecraft 1.20.1 is installed and I am looking forward to re-open the server soon . It has been interesting update and since I skipped 1.19.x versions, there has been surprises, good and bad. Here is today's status:
To do List: Edited 06/28/2023 - Server is OPEN but occasionally down for Maintenance DONE - Fix problem when Mobs disappearing on player contact. This means that in some cases Mobs die before player hit them. I've seen this in Mob farms where spawners are located and in the wilderness when player is moving around. PENDING - Chat does not show player rank, name color or nickname. The plugin I have used 7 years stopped working during this update and I had to find replacement. New plugin seems to work fine but has problem to show player info correctly. DONE - Plan to expand Survival world dimensions so that new 1.19.x-1.20.x biomes will generate. There will be portals placed at the spawn to reach these newly generated map areas, more likely N, E, S and W spawns. DONE - Find replacement for 3 plugins. DONE - Clean up Hub server. Some landscaping to do after removal of deleted servers. DONE - Find cause of player briefly falling when joining the server. DONE - Update website and plugin command lists. DONE - Update player permissions. DONE - Test "BuyRanks" plugin. In conclusion:
There was 17 plugins that failed, only six that are abandoned by author and needed or will need for replacement. You may ask what is happening to removed servers? I will save them for future decision making and see if they can be made downloadable or whatever. No final decision is available right now. Having said all this, project907 should be back online no later than next week-end before 4th of July and more info will be found on website and Facebook feed. Go outside and enjoy summer. -oLD- Version 1.20 has been published and I have started the updating process. This will take a while because I have not updated anything since March 2022. I have no ETA when it is done and I also need to find new or updated plugins before server can be open again to the public. Some servers will not be available after this update. To keep it simple for future updates, I will keep only Survival, 907MC and 907Classic. I may add new worlds later but this is how it is now. I have not seen many players lately but to those who still play here, I say thank you for playing and hopefully this update does not take weeks to complete.
-oLDfART- It has been one year since my last posting. Today, I finally got both of my accounts recovered after Microsoft mandatory migration started 2022. Last week I found paper receipts dated back to 2011 and Mojang accepted them as a proof of account ownership. During this battle I lost my interest to Minecraft and as you have noticed, I have not updated servers since 1.18.2. Because I'm back in the game, I will start updating servers when next version 1.20 is out and when plugins become available. I will close some servers but Survival, 907classic and 907MC will continue and those will be updated. I however need to combine some worlds to one server but I will decide when it is time to do so. More likely I will drop Creative, Vanilla and Skyblock because the lack of players and resources those servers take. 12 years later - Project907.com is not dead and Thank You for playing --oLDfART--

Finally got it done. There is some changes how ranking works. This is due to some plugins not being updated anymore. Now you can update your rank yourself with game money (again) but it is now more affordable than ever. To become Trusted, it only cost $200.00. Also to become Sourdugh, it only cost $ 1000.00. It is very easy to obtain small amount like this in many ways. You can just vote for the server in all provided links and you get over $100 a day. Just sell your reward diamonds and you are good to go. You can do some mining and that will also do the trick. You can get rank you want in just several days. Just remember that ranks don't move to other servers: if you are Sourdough in Survival, you may be still Trusted in 907MC. I try to make this easy later on but this is how current system works. ​Anyway, have fun and thank you for playing. -oLD-  October 16th 2011 this was a private server. There was three of us: Tamoe, Cameronalter and me. Then first week of November, server was listed on https://minecraft-server-list.com We received so many players that server was full day and night. This was when there wasn't many multiplayer servers available. We got griefed really bad during first months and I had to whitelist the server. After adding several Admins and Moderators and some good plugins, we were ready to open again. Five years ago I made short video "5 years in pictures" about the history of this server and if you have not seen it yet, it is available here. So much have happen since and latest Minecraft version update is finally done. We are now fully updated to 1.17.1 and I will keep this Minecraft server running even there is not many players anymore.
